How many times do we allow situations to dictate our choices, even when there are shared core values and mutual understanding?
It could be that aspects of the situation are no longer compatible with our needs. These are times when we need to take a good, honest look within ourselves and decide how compatible the situation is for our highest good. We all have daily choices to make, and not all are compatible with our learning experiences. This is where discernment aids in finding the right fit.
The blockage could be the feeling of letting another or a cause down, but the bottom line is the only person being let down is oneself. When we are sincere and honest with ourselves, our perception is expanded to truly move forward and live our authentic journey. A new outlook brings self-respect and compassion toward self and others, creating space to work forward in a place of fresh new beginnings.
Nature teaches us so much about compatibility by drawing attention to how each individual living plant, creature, insect, bird, and spider interacts to benefit and be in harmony with each other. The pollen from a blossom attracts the bee, then the bee pollinates. This is teamwork at its finest, two unique requirements working their strengths in a congenial way. They are highly different in many ways, but both have aspects to offer that make the situation highly compatible. Humans are the same unique creatures coming together in like-mindedness to create a favorable outcome.
There are many ways we can help ourselves become more seamless and in harmony with our inner thoughts to create our direction: cool, calm and collected while remaining compatible with all endeavors of our choosing.
- Consistently adhering to those practices of looking within for your own answers and solutions will help with understanding your unique self and direction.
- Reflect and identify what is appropriate and compatible for your highest good at any given moment. As in nature, align naturally with your deepest desires and needs.
- Allow a congenial balance when friction arises by understanding that all experiences, even if uncomfortable, are an opportunity that contains a valuable lesson. We can learn a great deal by being honest and sincere with ourselves.
- Like-minded individuals of different personalities complement and balance the flaws of one another, just like those creatures of nature.
Life is simple when starting with being responsible for our thoughts and actions that are compatible and in harmony with all our interactions, be it situations, others or the world around us.
